Our Craftsmanship
The silk used to make our scarves comes from Hangzhou in China’s Zhejiang province, a city renowned as the birthplace of silk. Traditional craft techniques are still preserved there—an opportunity I wanted to embrace in order to create high-quality scarves. Each piece is carefully handcrafted in a family workshop that combines time-honoured expertise with modern production technology. Its artisans have more than 30 years of experience in silk making, ensuring the highest possible quality.
Our Commitment
The silk selected from local suppliers is OEKO-TEX certified, guaranteeing that it is free from harmful substances. The entire production process is local—from raising silkworms and weaving the silk to making each scarf—giving us complete traceability. Our packaging is made from FSC-certified materials.
Émée is committed to responsible production and to minimising the environmental impact of its manufacturing process.
