The Brand

Émée’s story is also my story—a story of cultures and encounters between two countries I love: China, where I was born, and France, where I now live. Driven by my passion for art and design, I left my homeland to study at a French school of art and design. There, I met my partner, a French visual artist with an innate sensitivity. That meeting, born of a love that transcends cultures, nourished my inspiration. Together, we created Émée, a brand that brings our two creative worlds together. Its name draws inspiration from our love story and expresses the sincere affection infused into every creation. These silk scarves are far more than accessories: they convey a distinctive aesthetic through nature-inspired motifs and refined geometric forms. This artistic approach is guided by my desire to help everyone reveal their personality and their own beauty while feeling the genuine love behind each piece.

Our Craftsmanship and Commitment

Our Craftsmanship and Commitment

The silk used to make our scarves comes from Hangzhou in China’s Zhejiang province, a city renowned worldwide as the birthplace of silk. Traditional craft techniques are still preserved there—an opportunity I wanted to embrace in order to create high-quality scarves. Each piece is carefully handcrafted in a family workshop that combines time-honoured expertise with modern production technology. Its artisans have more than 30 years of experience in silk making, ensuring the highest possible quality.

Responsible Production

Responsible Production

The silk selected from local suppliers is OEKO-TEX certified, guaranteeing that it is free from harmful substances.

The entire production process is local—from raising silkworms and weaving the silk to making each scarf. This gives us complete traceability throughout production. Our packaging is made from FSC-certified materials.

Émée is committed to responsible production and to minimising the environmental impact of its manufacturing process.
